Atera began her career at our firm in 2016— quickly becoming an invaluable member of the team. She was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.S. degree in Communication Studies. Atera has proven to be an outstanding assistant with the distinct ability to knock out her duties efficiently and at a rapid pace, while still being able provide a compassionate ear to our clients.

Carlos grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from Bishop Kenny High School in 2016. He currently works as our legal assistant, receptionist, and general “jack of all trades.” Carlos works part-time at our firm, while attending the University of North Florida full-time. Carlos has been an excellent addition to our team who not only excels in performing a variety of administrative functions, but is also knowledgable, calm and empathetic with our clients.

Joining us from a corporate branding background, Alix is Jacksonville, FL native who has been with us from the beginning and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our firm. In addition to holding a B.S. degree in Business Administration/Digital Media from Rollins College, she is currently working on her M.S. in Business Development. Alix handles all office operations as well as the firm’s marketing. She is continually ensuring no problem goes unsolved, our clients are happy and the firm is running along smoothly.

David joined our firm in 2018, bringing his wealth of litigation experience to our clients while assisting Pattie to achieve the very best representation and advocacy for her clients. David is a native of Boston, Massachusetts where he attended Tufts University. Following a three-year stay in Philadelphia while attending Law School at Temple University, David moved to his adopted home of Jacksonville in 1994. For nearly twenty years, David represented the Department of Children and Families protecting abused, neglected and abandoned children.
